Usually the service is good, but the waitress this evening is in the wrong profession. Twice now I've been over charged and when I questioned the waitress she said, and I quote, "Well, I don't know what to tell you". Then she just walked away. The restaurant was full, but most of the booths had already been waited on. There were only three booths that were being waited on to place orders. She brought the food out separately over a 10 minute time frame. I first got my eggs scrambled with cheese, a few minutes later I got my bacon, then a few minutes after that I finally got my toast (which is what she had overcharged me on). I can appreciate being busy if you are just one person waiting tables, but what I don't appreciate is getting a smart attitude when I'm trying to explain that you charged me wrong. And what I really don't appreciate is then going down to the last booth and complaining to those customers about me! This will be the last time I eat at this Waffle House. The one if Forest City is the same distance as this one and they don't have staff with such attitudes.

Today we went to the waffle house it was raining very much outside the people inside the store was very nice working very hard they were people waiting we got seated pretty quick still people waiting the only problem was they was downpours on the inside they had water running in in like three different places that really needs to be taken care of other than that everything was great.

Health Code Violations! One cook (older guy, silver hair) handling food w his bare hands! 1st photo of him getting ready to butter toast for order. 2nd photo he's at grill,bare left hand obvious. This was after be came from back, wiping his hands on his apron. I'm a regular and this is how he roles. Other cook, not shown, had open sore on back on one hand, later seen washing dishes. Open cuts n sores should be bandaged and covered w a glove at all times. Other customer reviews mention staff not wearing gloves or washing hands while plating food after handling dirty dishes and/or raw meat.
